# Avalanche Network

Description of how set up the AVAX network

## MetaMask Setup

To get the Avalanche network setup on your MetaMask account, there are a few simple steps that must be followed. Navigate to your 'Networks' dropdown within the top of your MetaMask wallet, and click **Custom RPC**.

Once you are ready to add a Custom RPC, enter in the following information.

* **Network Name**: Avalanche Network
* **New RPC URL**: <https://api.avax.network/ext/bc/C/rpc>
* **ChainID**: 43114
* **Symbol**: AVAX
* **Explorer**: [https://cchain.explorer.avax.network](https://cchain.explorer.avax.network/)

## Buying and Selling FLUME

To buy FLUME, you must input your desired payment token into the 'From' slot, and paste FLUME's contract address into the 'To' slot. Although a minimum of 10% slippage is needed to execute swaps, Flume Finance recommends at least 12% slippage when buying and selling our token, but correct slippage amounts are subject to change based upon trading volume.
